If you’ve been wondering why the newsletter went a little quiet the last few weeks… well, I (Moshe) had a baby! Between diaper changes, cleaning up spit up, and getting whatever sleep I can, Denver Gigs took a back seat for a bit.

And you know what? That’s okay. Sometimes you’re chasing opportunities nonstop, and sometimes you’re just chasing a toddler who’s discovered the toilet paper roll in the bathroom.

The important thing is not to confuse a pause with the end of the story. Momentum isn’t something you lose forever — it’s something you can rebuild. And often, getting back on track is faster than you think.

Start small. Apply to one job. Follow up with one person you haven’t talked to in a while. Spend 10 minutes researching something new in your industry. The size of the step matters far less than the act of moving forward.

Denver’s job scene is always buzzing with fresh opportunities. Even if you’ve been out of the loop for weeks (or months), there’s no “too late” to jump back in. The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is today.
